This coffee is approachable and well rounded, it showcases the clean balance of flavours that Huehuetenango washed coffee are known for. Notes of fruity compote with dessert-like sweetness, changing as it cools. Roasted for filter and light espresso profiles, a filter brew brings out more of the fruity flavours, espresso favours the sweetness.

This coffee is produced by Hunchouen Cooperative which is a collective of hundreds of smallholder farmers in Huehuetenango.
For every 24 kg bag sold, a contribution is made to the MAIA Impact School, an education initiative focused on supporting Indigenous girls in Guatemala.

Huehuetenango is a province in the highlands of northwestern Guatemala, and Guatemala’s highest altitude coffee growing region. The high altitude allows coffee cherries to mature more slowly and develop more complex flavours.
