This coffee was processed at Rwamatamu’s Mbare washing station in Muhanga, Southern Province. Cherries are hand-sorted before pulping, then fermented in water for 12–48 hours to break down the mucilage. After washing, the coffee dries on raised beds for 21–22 days, depending on the weather, before being dehusked, polished and graded at milling facilities in Kigali.
